The challenge showed you the edges. The rest is still in your head.

That's the normal outcome of five days. You now know your one-liner, your one customer, your voice traits. What you don't have yet is the thing that makes all of that usable: a written foundation that decides what your website says, what you post, what you charge, and how a designer or a freelancer should work for you.

Without it, every piece of content is a fresh start, and every design project begins with someone trying to extract your brand from your head, at an hourly rate.

Eight modules. One finished brand book.

Each module opens with why it matters and exactly where you'll use the result, and closes with what it does for your business.

1

Position

Stress-test your one-liner three ways, choose the "shelf" you're compared on, and inventory what makes you the only choice.

Fewer sales lost at the comparison moment
2

Audience

One customer fully drawn, a pains–desires–objections map, and a bank of their exact words.

Higher conversion, less discounting
3

Voice

A one-page voice guide, five live sentences rewritten, and tone settings per channel.

Content in minutes; anyone can write for you
4

Competitive map

Find the empty corner your customers actually want.

Pricing with a reason
5

Values & story

Three values that cost you something, and a founder story that travels without you.

Word of mouth with a script
6

Message architecture

Your message house and a complete homepage section map, filled with your content.

A website that sells while you sleep
7

Visual direction

An annotated moodboard, an anti-board, and colour, type and image notes a designer can act on.

Fewer revision rounds
8

The Brand Foundation

Assemble everything, run the consistency check, and get the honest guide to what to DIY and what to hire.

Every future project starts at 60%

Plus six fillable templates: customer profile, voice guide, competitive map, message house + homepage map, moodboard and anti-board, and the Brand Foundation itself. Designed fillable PDF (about 50 pages) and a Google Doc version for phone and browser.

Is it for you?

Yes, if

  • you finished (or mostly finished) the challenge and want the full version of that thinking
  • you're a founder of a product or service brand and you write most of your own marketing
  • you're planning a website, packaging or a rebrand in the next year and want to arrive prepared
  • you've hired a designer before and felt like you were paying them to guess

Not yet, if

  • you want someone to do the thinking for you. That's a studio project, and the Kit will make you a far better client for one.
  • you're looking for templates to make a logo. The Kit is the strategy that comes before that.

Why it's $27

Less than an hour of a designer's time, for the work designers charge three workshops for. The Kit is the discovery process I run at the start of every client project, written so a founder can do it alone. Module 6 alone, knowing what your homepage sections need to say and in what order, is worth the price against a single hour of anyone's discovery fee.

$27 is the challenge-finisher price because you've already done the first five exercises. After this week, it's $47.

From the founder

I've spent over a decade building brands for product and service founders. The projects that go well share one thing: the founder arrived with clarity, not a folder of screenshots. The projects that go badly are almost never a design problem; they're a missing-foundation problem, and no amount of rounds fixes it.

I built the Kit so more founders arrive with the foundation done. Some of them will hire me afterwards. Most will just have a better brand. Both are fine with me.

Quick questions

Is this just the challenge again?

No. The challenge asked five questions. The Kit builds the complete answer to each, plus four modules the challenge never touched: competitive mapping, values and story, message architecture, and visual direction.

How long does it take?

Plan 4–6 hours in total, in as many sittings as you like. Most people do a module an evening.

Do I need design skills?

None. Module 7 is written specifically so a non-designer can produce a visual brief a designer can use.

What if I've already got a brand?

Then you'll finish faster, and you'll find the contradictions. Module 8's consistency check is the part existing brands get the most from.

What format is it?

A designed, fillable PDF plus a Google Doc copy. Type into either, or print the PDF if you prefer paper.

one foundation. every caption, page, pitch and brief after it.

Stop starting from a blank page.
